Requirements
- Studies on Telecommunication or Computer Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Job location is in Barcelona (Spain)
Organisational Skills
Carry out software development activities as a member of the DANA software development team, in the context of several national and international R&D projects. Skills are related to the following tasks:
- Software design and implementation
- Understanding the requirements and expectations of the related R&D projects
- Software testing and validation
- Software documentation
- Team leadership
Valuable technical skills:
- Knowledge on networking protocols and technologies (core network protocols, routing protocols, firewalling, etc).
- Interest on server/network virtualization and cloud computing technologies.
- Minimal Unix/GNU-Linux administration skills.
- Knowledge in one or more Object-Oriented programming languages (Java, Perl, Python…).
- Experience on server-side web programming (J2EE, PHP, RoR, etc).
- Experience on dynamic or scripting languages (python, shell, etc).
- Experience in one ore more technologies: WS (REST or SOAP), Spring, OSGi, etc
Valuable Personal Skills:
- Team-worker
- Team leadership
- Proactivity and self-initiative.

DURATION
The contract will last for one year and will be renewed depending on the candidate’s performance. The Gross salary depends on the candidate profile .
