DANA student wins ICT2013 Student ICT research project competition

The first week of November ICT2013 will take place with the participation of more than 4000 people among students, researchers, industry representatives and politicians. The event will present the Horizon 2020 program for future European research and it is expected to have big impact worldwide.
i2CAT and specifically DANA will participate in several of the activities proposed in the event representing the institution as well as several of the European projects in which i2CAT/DANA is involved.
We are also proud to announce that the work done by one of our students, Josep Batallé, has been selected among the finalists to be invited at the ICT2013 event in the ICT2013 Student ICT research project competition. His work, in collaboration with other researchers of the Infrastructure Control and Management (ICM) research line of i2CAT/DANA will present a first implementation prototype of SDN/NFV concepts for virtualizing the network routing function.
If you want to know more about our projects and work we are looking forward meeting you in Vilnius!
