After some weeks of preparation finally the date for the project kick-off arrived! The meeting run smoothly and there was a good atmosphere among the project partners. The project goals are ambitious and the schedule is tight, but that’s the good thing about kick-off meetings: you’re still not late!
The project has generated interest in Spanish media, with the news about the project startup having been published in a number of sites.
After the kick-off, the Pouzin Society (PSOC) and the IRATI project organized the first RINA workshop in Barcelona, during the week of January 22nd. Representatives from different organizations that had already expressed some interest in RINA were invited to the three days event, hosted by the Fundació i2CAT. The audience, composed of a mixture of industrial organizations, academic institutions and funding bodies from Europe, North and South America, were presented with the latest research and development results surrounding RINA. Moreover, the very interactive event allowed the attendees to discuss the properties of the RINA architecture, implementation strategies and opportunities for collaboration.
